I’m getting a list of shit I want to get when I get my truck and I’m looking for wheels and tires.
I’ll be probably doing a 2.5 level and I’d like 18-21 inch wheels, 35" tires and bolt-on looking fender flares. Any suggestions? Max budget is around $2,000 for wheels+tires.
The truck will look pretty similar to this one.

I’m not a huge fan of the design, but I like Method wheels in general.

Unconventional choice but Jeremy’s sports Land Rover looked awesome on the OZ superturizmos. Maybe look at a sporty wheel design instead of the usual truck style wheels.

I still don’t believe you’re getting a truck. This is all a sham, folks.

No flares and don’t go too big on the tires. It’s amazing how sluggish it makes a truck without a re-gear.

Sell your 1500 truck, then buy a 2500 so you can put AEV wheels on it.
Specifically these ones.

I like the stock look with maybe a bit more tire.

Not for $2000. You be $3000 minimum for 18"-21" wheels & 35" tires.

My 33's were $1200 by themselves.

I’ve made a few Tire Rack combos already for under $2,000.

I’m exploring outside of my normal realm of VAG and I think slightly lifted trucks look nice.

To each his own.
FWIW, if you’re going with larger tires, I think 18-19" wheels will look better. Low profile off road tires look strange in my opinion. Also, you’ll save weight that way.
